Experience one week of
soccer with benfica
Benfica Residential Academy Summer Clinics utilize the same proven methodology used by SL Benfica to train its elite soccer players in Portugal, which guarantees the quality of technical training and educational enrichment of all athletes.
Through individualized and specific training, the Clinics help players 6 to 18 years old develop technical, tactical, physical and psychological skills. All aspects of the game, including running technique, relationship with the ball, tactical circulation and attacking and defensive game principles are practiced daily in both individual and team environments.

DEVELOPMENT
All Summer and Winter Clinics are run by SL Benfica technical coordinators and soccer coaches accredited by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) and UEFA. Benfica Residential Academy believes that its coaches are a crucial element in the development of young elite athletes.
Elite players are developed in three ways:
Good coaches and educators to nurture them;
Strong and sound development methodologies; and
Technology that tracks nutrition, sleep, injuries and other important factors.

WHEN ARE THE SUMMER CLINICS?
The Benfica Residential Academy Summer Clinics will happen during June 2nd and August 1st, 2025. Each clinic is one-week long and there will be 8 weeks available during the summer for you to choose from.

WHERE ARE THE SUMMER CLINICS?
The Summer Clinics will be hosted at Saint Leo University campus in Florida (Tampa region).
We have Residential Packages where the participant (12 years old or older) can stay on campus for the week, or Commuter packages in case the participant is staying somewhere else with their family (e.g. Hotel).
WHO IS THIS SUMMER CLINIC FOR?
The Benfica Residential Academy Summer Clinics are designed for soccer players (both boys and girls) 6 to 18 years old.
HOW MUCH IS TO REGISTER?
There are two packages available:
1) Residential ($2,500) that includes training kit, on-campus accommodation, meals, training sessions, and full access to academy facilities (available only for players 12 years old or older)
2) Commuter ($2,100) that includes training kit, all training sessions, meals, and facilities access, but no overnight stay.
Each clinic is a one-week intensive and personalized soccer training experiences. There are 8 weeks available to choose from during the summer (June-August 2025).
